Oh! What a treat! I contacted my father’s younger sister Mary (92) who lives in Indiana. I haven’t seen her in 50 years when Wildman and I went to a wedding of Jean–dad’s other sister’s (Martha) daughter. She was exited for a visit. Susan and I drove there this Monday. I needed to hear stories of my dad since I really didn’t know him. Her daughter (my cousin Betty) was there and gave us lunch. Mary had collected photos and notes and with childlike animation told many stories.
I am so grateful for the contact. I caught her up with my life as we shared stories and they so kindly got in my underpants for the photo. Thank you Mary and Betty.
