A Frosty, Frozen Winter On the Land

  Greetings from the Gesundheit family in West Virginia! It has been a frosty, frozen winter so far and we have been enjoying our seasonal hibernation.

The holiday season was full of love, excitement, and merriment.  We welcome the return of the light and embrace our next cycle around the sun. The Health Care Justice Gathering was a huge success and lots of fun.  There were around thirty participants from many different countries around the world. It was a very cold week so the fires were stoked and folks were close and cozy. It all culminated into a joyous New Year’s Eve celebration.

  Having Patch and Susan here for the entire Health Care Justice Gathering was awesome and inspirational.  Patch continues to spread love and grow his mission by being himself and speaking his heart.  It is wonderful to see the spirits and hearts swell and the connections made by all of the amazing folks brought together here on the land. Paul Glover, a speaker and teacher at the event, is a highly motivated participant in change.  He has done proactive work towards affordable and accessible health care in Ithaca, NY and Philadelphia, PA.

We caretakers here on the land love and respect each other and work together great.  We look forward to more programs and events happening here in the future.   Spring is right around the corner and our agricultural senses are tingling!  Our next Program is The Wellness Celebration, a weekend full of workshop in nutrition, yoga, energy healing, wild medicinal plants, self-love/care, and more. So please join us for that on May 18 -20. We will have more details about cost of tuition soon!
